My Journey
I'm Gerrit Viljoen, the founder and creator of FootballDAQ.
This platform wasn't created by a studio or backed by investors. It started with one idea and countless late nights asking myself one question: "Could this actually work?"
Over time, that question turned into sketches, spreadsheets, pricing models, algorithms, trading systems, portfolios, dividend engines, databases, and eventually the platform you're exploring today.
There were moments where the easier option would have been to walk away. Instead, every challenge became another reason to keep building.
FootballDAQ represents years of learning, refining, rebuilding, and believing that football fans deserve something entirely different. I'm incredibly proud of how far it has come, but I believe the journey is only just beginning.
